At Placida Decor, we strive to deliver your furniture safely and on time. Please review our shipping details below before placing your order.

Delivery Zones

  • Lower Mainland & British Columbia: We offer local delivery with our own team. Free delivery on orders over $100 CAD. A flat delivery fee of $100 CAD applies to orders under $100 CAD.
  • Rest of Canada: We ship via third-party carriers. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
  • United States: Shipping is available to the US. Duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  • International: Please contact us at info@placidadecor.com for international shipping inquiries outside of Canada and the US.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Lower Mainland (local delivery): 3–7 business days
  • Rest of BC & Canada: 7–14 business days
  • United States: 10–21 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or high demand. Placida Decor is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.

Delivery Appointments

For large furniture items (beds, sofas, dining tables), a delivery appointment will be required. Our team will contact you to schedule a convenient time. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order.

Assembly Service

Professional furniture assembly is available for an additional fee of $150 CAD and must be requested at the time of purchase. Assembly is available within the Lower Mainland and select BC areas.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information or delivery details. For local deliveries, our team will contact you directly to confirm your appointment.

Damaged Items in Transit

If your order arrives damaged:

  • If possible, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately
  • If already accepted, photograph the damage from multiple angles (including packaging) within 24 hours of delivery
  • Contact us at info@placidadecor.com and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue
